About NVCA

The NVCA's next meeting
will be the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING on
Sunday, 19th February, 2012 at 11am sharp.
The venue for the meeting and following picnic lunch is the Lion's Park on the corner of
Bowra and Park Streets in Bowraville.

 

Monthly Meetings

Meetings are held on the last Friday of each month at various venues. Currently we meet in Bowraville at 9.45am for a 10am start.

Aims and Objectives of the NVCA

To respect the natural environment and its biodiversity.
To raise awareness of the intrinsic value of a healthy environment and its role as our life support system.

To campaign to promote environmental health and protection at a local, regional, state and national level to the best of our abilities.

To raise awareness of local and broader issues effecting the environment, through communication, NVCA newsletters, meetings, fundraising events and the media.

To promote the principles of ecologically sustainable development and land management including the marine environment.

To encourage the community to participate in local issues which relate to ecologically sustainable development and environmental health.

To remain informed about current issues and trends in environmental health, conservation and natural resource management.

To participate in local, state and federal government processes relating to environmental management.
